The surface-exploring girl was rapidly losing touch with her memories without the stabilizing effects of her hallway. She still could think clearly and there wasn't much to influence her emotions or personality now that the annoying voices had stopped, but she didn't seem to have any experiential recollections as to who she was or what she was here for, or even that she had ever been anywhere else.
She still had a few outdoorsman skills from all her time exploring in the woods during vacations, but the particulars were increasingly murky.
"Ugh, let's try to keep it together," she said out loud, "you're Black Stone, even though you're clearly red, don't want to think about that, I wished on myself that I could be more like gold than blood..."
True to the wish, the exploring Black was being given complete understanding by becoming the psyche managing the wishes inside the rock. Her body was now an extension of the surface, and she felt extremely at home here reminiscing on all the wishes she granted or could grant. Sometimes she imagined she was a human, trying to get along with friends and family, and she had a near perfect imagination now. As she thought, many of the constellations above her changed around like shifting clouds...

Karyn, who had come back to her senses in the mirrored hallway, was pretty determined to get out of this realm. She didn't care if she forgot everything about it, actually. She wanted to see her family again, be annoyed by people mocking her size again, anything except this monotony.
She passed through yet another mirror frame gate, this one putting her in her cheerleader outfit. She felt like there was something wrong with that, how could she be a cheerleader at her size?
She shook her head. It isn't exactly like she could be an athlete while this small, and her stature made her something of a de facto mascot. She wasn't seen as a serious threat by Sarah, who treated her decently enough as a result.
"I wonder if I'm still doing things in the real world..." she muttered out loud. "Does simply walking forward here mean I'm living my normal life there? What about conversations and dates? Too strange..."
Passing through another frame, Karyn resized to a few heads taller than Sarah.
I wonder how Sarah is handling Biff leaving her, I can put up with a lot from them, sometimes being her captain is too much... ugh.
Suddenly, she paused.
If I run through this hall, do I reach 'the end?' Forever? Is there really no way back out of this wish?
