Lorna turned around and was greeted by the sight of Dr Grant stood there smiling at her. She was dressed in a conservative black sleeveless dress, and her red hair was hanging loose rather than being tied up in its usual ponytail.
“Ruby!” Lorna smiled widely, “so good to see you!” She added.
“And you too Lorna,” Ruby smiled back, “I must say your changes are surprising!” She added looking her up and down.
“Yeah, everything really has progressed quite quickly” Lorna replied with a sigh, “is that what you wanted to speak to me about?” She added. Ruby looked around at the assembled party goers.
“Could we go somewhere a little more private?” She asked. Lorna looked around and spotted a table at the far side of the patio away from everyone else.
“Let’s go sit over there” she suggested, “you go sit down, I’ll just let my husband know where I’ve gone” she added. Ruby nodded, and Lorna wasn’t sure, but it almost looked like she was stifling a laugh as she headed towards to the table. She shook the thought off and headed over to where Laura and Lucy were stood at the grill.
“There she is!” Laura said happily, pulling her into a tight one-armed hug, “having fun babe?” She asked.
“I am” Lorna replied, “listen Shaun, Ruby says she has something to talk to me in private, so we’ll just be over there, ok honey?” She added. Laura blinked a few times at the name Shaun, then broke into another smile.
“Of course babe, I’ve got Rocky here to keep me company and we’ll let Lara know when she gets back.” He beamed, “go have your little chat” he added, pulling his wife close again, and planting a kiss on her cheek.
“Oh stop it!” Lorna laughed, swatting playfully at her husband, before making her way across the patio to where Ruby waited.
Biff, Mollie, and Anne Farber were sat on the far side of the pool. Anne and Mollie were causally talking about football while Biff was laying on his back topping up his tan. Suddenly Anne felt a shadow fall over her from behind.
“Well, well, if it isn’t my favourite stud!” A sultry voice cooed. Anne looked up and saw Macey Harper standing there in a light blue bikini.
“Oh hi Ms Harper” she said, immediately feeling a twitch in her shorts.
“Oh please, I think we’re long past Ms Harper” Macey laughed with a wink, “I bought this suit specially after I heard you might be here, what do you think?” she added, turning slightly and arching her back.
“I…you…look hot Ms…Macey” Anne stammered. All the while Mollie and Biff were looking between the two of them stunned.
“Good to hear it, I’ll catch you later stud!” She said with a wink as she turned and walked away.
“Damn Stan!” Mollie chuckled, “you don’t mess around!”
“And what’s that supposed to mean Billy?” Biff said, pretending to be angry.
“Oh come on Saffron, you’ve got to admit this guys done well to pull a MILF like her!” Mollie chuckled.
“Well I hope I look half as good as that when I’m older!” Saffron admitted reluctantly. Billy turned to his girlfriend and smiled.
“Saff, you’re already twice as hot as her” he grinned. Saffron rolled her eyes and laid back down.
“Thanks babe” she smiled.
