Sarah quickly donned the swimsuit she found, then threw on a white lacy dress over the top before heading down to the living room to relax for a bit. Around 30 minutes later she heard the sound of a car pulling into the driveway. She quickly made her way to the front door and swung it open just as Laura was about to ring the doorbell. Jon was stood just behind her, and had also changed into a light summer dress, a large canvas tote bag hanging from his shoulder. Just coming up for the car were Zoe, Athena, Simon and Karyn.
“Oh hi Slara” Laura smiled in surprise, “Sorry we’re a little earlier than we said” she added apologetically.
“It’s no bother.” Sarah replied, “head on through to the garden, I’ll go fetch Locky” she added gesturing for them to enter. They all filed in through the door, and as he passed her Sarah lightly grabbed Jon by the shoulder.
“Not so fast you” she smirked, “I want to see this bikini of yours” she grinned. Jon smiled back at her.
“If I must” he said with fake exasperation.
“Not here though” Sarah continued, “come with me.” She added leading him upstairs. They headed into the guest bedroom and Sarah closed the door behind them. Jon placed his tote bag down on the bed, and looked out the window for a second, taking in the sight of the expansive back garden and large pool. He could already see Biff and Molly lounging on the far side of the pool. Laura and th kids had taken up a spot closer to the house.
“Well?” Sarah asked after a moment, “you gonna change?”
“No need” Jon smirked back as he grabbed the hem of his dress and lifted it up over his head. Underneath he was wearing a black bikini set with large pink flowers printed on. The top was a push-up that accentuated his new chest, and the bottoms had a lacy frill along the outer seams.
“What do you think?” He asked, giving a little spin.
“Very impressive!” Sarah replied, “damn Jorna you look good! But…” she continued as she too pulled her dress off in the same manner, revealing a plain red string bikini that really showed off her new mature figure.
“I still think mines better” she added with a cheeky wink.
“Let’s call it a draw” Jon chuckled.
“Yeah sure” Sarah smirked, “let’s go get my hus…Locky and get this party started!” She added cheerily. She led Jon out the room and into the master bedroom where Lucy was still dozing on the bed. She dragged Jon with her to the foot of the bed and then gently shook Lucy’s leg to wake her.
“Whazzat?” Lucy grumbled as she slowly woke.
“The Gibisons are here honey” Sarah said softly, as Lucy’s eyes fluttered open. She looked down at the foot of the bed and her eyes shot open at the sight of the two beauties stood there.
“Well this is a nice way to wake up” she smiled, “Good to see you Jorna, you look nice.” She added as she pushed herself up into a sitting position.
“Thanks Locky,” Jon replied with a smile, “Lhaun is downstairs with the kids” he added.
“Sort yourself out and we’ll see you down there ok hon” Sarah said as she ushered Jon out the room. The two of them headed downstairs, as Sarah started filling Jon in on who else would be coming to the party.
“That reminds me,” she said as they reached the foot of the stairs, “Where’s VMicky?” She asked.
“Oh he’ll be joining us in a while, he’s gone shopping for a new swimsuit with his friend.” Jon replied.
“Oh good, I was worried he’d bailed on you” Sarah said simply.
“He nearly did until we sent him the money to get himself something nice.” Jon replied, a hint of sadness in his voice, “I’m just glad he’s found a friend to help him through all this” he added.
“Well that’s what we’re doing all this for” Sarah said as they walked past Robert in the kitchen, gesturing at all the food on the counters, “hopefully it’ll help everyone else too” she added.
“We firing this thing up or what?” Laura asked as they arrived outside, “or do we need to wait for our gracious host?” She chuckled.
“Keep you hair on, I’m coming” Lucy’s voice came from behind them, “just need a little fuel first” she added as she grabbed a beer from a nearby cooler. She walked over and joined Laura by the barbecue grill, and between the two of them they quickly got it lit.
“Help yourself to drinks ladies” she said to Jon and Sarah, “and let’s get this party under way!”
