Oddly enough, upon making the wish, there was no ripple of Jewel's body in the mirror, and it seemed like nothing happened.
"Well, I suppose it worked. Now I will not have to worry about you ruining my fun!" said Jewel to her daughter, her tone totally playful.
Sally began to panic. "I-I wish my mom was the way she was before she made a wish!" She exclaimed, only to find that nothing happened. Her ability to make wishes was gone!
