Mary decided to take a picture of her with her family. The camera had a timer knob.
"Phil...kids...I want to try out this camera. Can you come here?"
"Do we have to?" Her son Trevor said. Her daughter, Jenny seemed more amenable, especially since her cartoon seemed to be over.
"It will be fun...I haven't used a camera like this since I was a kid. Your grandpa had one of these."
Pretty soon, Phil was standing by the wall holding baby Chris, with Trevor next to him, and Jenny in front of them.
"Okay...I'm going to set the timer, and I'll stand right there. I need you to hold the pose till you hear the click and see the flash."
"Are you sure there is even film in that thing?" Phil asked.
"It says there is. But it could have been in there for years. That's the fun, dear. Now, in 15 seconds..." she declared. She set the mechanical timer, and they could hear it clicking. She counted down the seconds.
"Now, everyone say cheese..."
Everyone except Chris said it, the camera flashed, and Mary rushed over to grab the picture out of the front. It was still developing, but she was starting to see the outline of the family photo appear. She looked back at her family, and gasped.
