Mary decided she wanted to take a picture of her 14 year-old son, Trevor, and her 11 year-old daughter, Jenny together. As Mary looked through both of her children's closets, she had the idea to take a photo and make it look a little retro with both of them dressed up.
"Mom, do I really have to wear all this?" Trevor complained adjusting the tie he was wearing behind his shirt and sweater.
"Yes, Trevor you do. Look at Jenny, she seems to like hers." Mary said looking at her daughter wearing a polka dot stop with a poodle skirt.
"I feel so pretty mommy." Jenny said smiling.
"Alright you two, just stand close together and smile for the camera." Mary said as Trevor and Jenny stood side by side with each other. As Mary pressed the flash, the room seemed to be engulfed in a white light.
When Mary opened her eyes to see her kids, she instead saw an older man and an older woman wearing clothes similar to what her kids were just wearing, except they looked to be close to Mary and her husband Phil's ages.
"Do you think I looked good Trevor, sweetie?" The woman asked.
"Jen, honey, I know you always look great in a photo." The man, Trevor complimented as the two kissed. Mary noticed the two of them wearing wedding rings and the names they used, Trevor and Jen, these were somehow Mary's kids but now older. Mary guessed that somehow the camera changed them.
"Uh....don't...don't you two want to take another photo?" Mary asked.
"No thanks Mary, it's late and Jen and I have to be getting to....bed." Trevor said as Jen pulled him towards a bedroom that Mary was sure was only a guest room before.
Mary then noticed around their house, photographs were different. In the pictures of Phil and Mary, it was just baby Chris with her now. There were other pictures of Trevor and Jenny together, it seemed they were now a couple who were living with them.
