As the police car he'd been put in rumbled towards the station, the handcuffed Arnold Leeson was forced to confront the idea he was somehow going insane. His suddenly beautified wife barely recognized him and seemed genuinely convinced she was married to the blonde living in his house. Kyla hadn't recognized him either, and though Skylar slammed the door on him pretty quickly, even the interior of the house looked like it had been redecorated. Now, staring out the squad car's window, he truly felt like he'd stepped into the twilight zone. From a distance everything was the same, but the more he focused the more subtle little changes he noticed. Businesses with different names, a few new buildings here and there, one or two that seemed to have gone missing, and more were leaping out at him.

However, the thing that caught his eye immediately once the car turned towards downtown, was a new skyscraper towering over the rest of the city center. Lakeview was a midsized city, with the tallest buildings in the dense downtown being around 30 stories, but this new silver white spire was easily three times the height. It mostly looked like a normal building, despite it appearing out of nowhere, but Arnold found his vision being drawn to the dim red-white glow slowly strobing from the top floor.

"Alright, Mr. Leeson, let's get you booked." Officer Jacobs directed him as the car pulled into the station's parking bay. The arresting officer, a non-descript 20 something guy with close cropped brown hair, hadn't been rough or even unkind with Arnold, but he had steadfastly ignored Mr. Leeson's protests of the house being his house, just calmly informing him they could sort it out down at the station.

As he was led through the precinct, heading towards the intake cell, Jacobs exchanged a few hellos with some of his colleagues. Arnold wasn't really paying attention, his mind too caught up with the insanity at his house and the strange tower, until he saw the woman who stepped out of the police chief's office to address the officer. Wearing a crisp blue decorated uniform that failed to conceal her large bust, was some sort of bizarro version of Kyla's friend Karyn Black. His daughter wasn't the most sociable, so it was easy to recognize the girl's face, but it looked like the girl had matured over night into her early 20s, her bust and rear filling out with curves as she did so. He supposed she looked like an adult now, but one way too young to feasibly be anything more than a rookie, much less the police chief her badge proclaimed her to be.

"Evening Jacobs, everything go okay on the call?" the now curvy Karyn asked, looking Arnold over critically but with no hint of recognition. Her red hair had seemingly been dyed with blonde highlights and she casually tucked a strand that had come loose back into her tight professional bun.

"Yes ma'am," Jacobs replied sharply with a quick salute, before relaxing and chuckling slightly as he gestured to Arnold, "seems like Mr. Leeson here had a bit of a disturbance with an old crush down on Matis street. I'm gonna let him sleep it off in the drunk tank."

Karyn nodded, "alright, just make sure to order a sample for drug testing." She turned to look sternly at Arnold, "you should be free to go in the morning provided you come back clean, but I expect you not to bother the Hart's again, understand?" A little more kindly she added, "If you're having mental health difficulties I strongly recommend seeing a therapist; Officer Jacobs will be happy to give you some literature on our community resources."
