Jon was in the master bedroom, what would be her new bedroom. It was a luxurious space, with a huge bed covered in silk ivory colored sheets and a goose down comforter, a plasma tv mounted to one wall, a vanity table with pearl inlays and other similar furnishings. In addition to the door leading to the rest of the house there was an attached bathroom, French doors that looked out onto a personal balcony, a walk in closet the size of Jon's old entire bedroom, and another closet that seemed to be just for shoes.
She was taking a moment to inspect her own appearance in the mirror, slowly connecting the woman she saw to her own self image. Her mom, no scratch that, her daughter had helped her get dressed since she was still new to women's clothing before going off to get dressed herself ahead of dinner, giving Jon a little time to herself. With Linda's help, she'd donned the designer dress Susan had sent Linda rushing to pick up that afternoon, a low cut dress in a deep red, with a draped collar that drew the eye to her new 'assets'. It was odd getting used to moving with that weight on her chest, but she was slowly getting the hang of it. She was also getting used to heels, at the moment wearing a pair of 4' white stilettos. The dress was very revealing, only coming down to her upper thigh, sleeveless, and largely backless besides a slight crisscrossing of the thin chains that constituted the straps. For Jon, who typically wore a shapeless t-shirt and jeans, it was a major shift, but not an unpleasant one. For once in her life she felt like she didn't have anything to hide, and could be proud stepping out in this body.
Linda had done her make up, touching up what Susan had already done that morning, all the while talking Jon through the process. She wasn't sure why make-up and nail polish had transferred with their transformation while their clothes and shoes did not, but she was thankful not to have to deal with Susan in her old body suddenly made-up and with painted nails. Eye shadow, mascara, blush, lip gloss, and so on all worked together to enhance her already beautiful face. Her long blonde curls cascaded down to the middle of her back. She wore a slim silver lady's watch on her left wrist and a diamond tennis bracelet on the other. Big pear-cut diamond earrings dangled from either ear, and around her neck was a large necklace festooned with what seemed to be countless diamonds twinkling back at her. According to Linda the ludicrously fancy piece of jewelry had been a tenth anniversary gift from the late Mr. McMillan and was valued at a bit over 1.1 million dollars.
"I'm wearing a million dollars around my neck," Jon told her reflection breathlessly. "I'm a woman who owns a million dollar necklace and it's not even the most expensive thing in this house." Jon was still trying to get a grip of her new found wealth; Linda estimated Susan's net worth at between 500 and 700 million dollars, a fortune that was now in Jon's pocket. Or rather, in the white leather clutch she held, since she obviously didn't have pockets in this outfit.
"Ready to go, mom?" Linda asked from the doorway. Jon could tell the former middle aged woman was still buzzing with excitement, looking just as bubbly as Sarah did on pep rally days. The now-younger woman was wearing a somewhat less fancy, though only by comparison to Jon's, outfit, a light pink a line dress with an embroidered lace top. Smaller dusty pink diamond drop earrings hung from either ear, a rose gold bangle sat on either wrist, and she had her own black clutch stowed under her arm.
Jon turned, "You know, I rather think I am."
