In Sarah's room, Linda was preening and posing in front of a floor length mirror, trying to see every angle of her new teenage bombshell body. Not only was she suddenly young, she was gorgeous. "I'm the freaking head cheerleader," she proclaimed in wonder. Back when she was in school she'd always been fairly average, a bit of a wallflower really, jealous of girls like Sarah who seemed to have hit the genetic lottery. She gathered two big handfuls of golden blonde hair in her hands before letting them go with a giggle; she couldn't believe her good fortune.
She had some worries, sure. She didn't know what had caused the switch or if it might reverse itself; having tasted being in this body might be crueler than the whole thing never happening at all and the thought made her shudder. There were also her worries about messing up her act, walking into school and everyone somehow knowing she was an imposter. She shook her head to dismiss it. She'd just have to be the best Sarah she could be. At that moment she just wanted to revel in the excitement she was feeling.
Suddenly, she was distracted from the sound of someone walking through the hall behind her. She turned and peeked her head out of the door, only to see Susan McMillan walking around with a confused look on her face. She started to get geared up to bluff her boss that she was in fact her daughter and not her assistant, but something held her back. Say what you like about Susan McMillan, she was a confident ass woman, and the look of trepidation on her face was totally foreign. The McMillan Matriarch was walking slowly, looking around almost like she didn't know which room was which.
Linda's brow furrowed as a thought occurred to her; the way Sarah described her errant wish that miraculously came true, she hadn't exactly wished for Linda to know what it was like to be Sarah. She'd wished for Jon's Family to know what it was like to be the McMillans. Which meant...., maybe she wasn't the only one who'd made the switch. It was worth testing the waters in any event.
She slowly stepped out of her room, seeming to startle the apparent Susan, and, taking a risk, said "Jon?"
