Sarah woke up to the sound of the alarm at the side of her bed blaring. She hit the button to stop it, and was momentarily panicked when she saw the time..how had she set her alarm for so late? She scrambled out of bed before her brain told her it wasn't that late. She jumped in the shower and quickly cleaned herself off, dried and brushed her hair, and grabbed a pair of jeans and a top out of her closet to put on. Grabbing her bag to head down to breakfast, she completely ignored her makeup table.
Grabbing a toaster waffle, she headed outside to wait for Biff, who drove up to pick her up. As she entered the car, she frowned, noticing he was wearing a hoodie and a ratty pair of pants. She banished the thought away. "Thanks for the lift," she told him, leaning toward him for a kiss.
"What are friends for?" He said.
It was like a cold bucket of water on Sarah. She leaned back and buckled her seatbelt. Did I just try to kiss Biff?
