"I don't know why you want to go over there," Simon said.
"Well, I do. You don't have to," Laura told him.
"Come on, kids," Jon said. "we don't want to be late."
Laura got in the driver's seat, Jon in the passenger seat, and everyone else in the back. They headed toward the mall, pulling up to the food court. Simon and Zoe hopped out, Mikey behind them. "Thanks for the lift, Mr G," Simon said, without thinking.
"Keep your cell phones on," Jon called.
After they got inside, Zoe spotted Athena, waiting for them, and hurried over.
