"Miss Gibson. I won't tell you again. Please pay attention," the teacher admonished her again. This time, Myka made sure she kept her eyes on the teacher, but her thoughts were still on how much she had changed that day. How so many others had changed that day, just because she (as Mikey) wanted to play a prank on her brother Jon.
The period passed quickly as a result...they were already halfway through it when Myka and Karyn joined. Everyone started to file out.
"Gena...wait up," Myka called.
Gena and her friend paused just outside the door. "What? I thought you didn't want to be seen with me at school."
"I really need your help..."
"This again....look..."
"Can't we talk about this later...Zara and I have things to do." Specifically, they had to figure out this whole clothes swapping thing. Gena was unaware that was exactly what Myka needed help with.
So, the other girl's name was Zara Myka looked at both of them and decided they weren't interested in helping. She needed to figure out how to stop this, if she couldn't fix it...but how? "Fine," Myka sighed.
She turned to look for Karyn. At least she seemed to be Myka's current friend of the minute...however long that lasted. She'd made and lost several friends today.
