Karyn's head hurt slightly as the dual sets of memories of the last hour or so continued to war in her awareness. Due to Jon's second wish she had technically heard both wishes and was therefore aware of their effects, only the second one seemed to have done anything noticible so far.
Karyn grabbed her forhead as the dull ache was starting to fade.
"I'm so sorry!" Jon's voice brought her back to the present. "I am an idiot, you're right, but I didn't know what to do after I accidentally made that first wish. I didn't want to face whatever it is alone!"
Karen was about to respond when it happened.
There was a moment of disorentation when the first part happend. As Jon and Karyn recovered fom it they both noticed something wasn't right between their legs. Karyn now had a penis and Jon a vagina.
Jon patted his crotch and looked up, noticing the slight bulge in Karyn's crotch. They looked at each other for a moment before Karyn said something.
"I... I think... I think... I have a..." she trailed off. "I'm going to go check... I'll knock before I come back in." She walked out of the room, slightly awkwardly from the discomfort cause by the unfamiliarity of the new part and because neither her nor Jon's clothing had changed with their bodies.
A few minutes later they had both confirmed what they feared, and were back in Jon's room sitting together trying to decide what to do next.
