If my life is going to be like this forever, and wishes don't work in here...
Karyn was shockingly calm for the situation that seemed this hopeless and strange. Part of it was not touching the mirrors anymore, part of it was probably part of her wish to understand, not to be destroyed or distraught by attempting to understand and messing up.
Still, never seeing her friends or family again was odd, maybe if she...
Holding out her arms to touch both the walls of mirrors, she stood still as the dueling mentalities crashed together in her mind.
She stood this way as the mirror behind her caught up and pressed into her back. Now she was overwhelmed with the sense that this feeling and place was where she always has been, always touching three reflections.
Seeing an empty frame coming toward her, Karyn felt she knew what to do: just as with a wish, she compelled herself to close her eyes as her body moved, sliding from the past mirror, through the new frame.
Black Stone felt something instinctual, a real wish! Something beyond words, from the heart. She busily got to work rearranging the constellations above in like kind to this strange feeling. She loved this part.

Karyn Black stumbled around her family's garage. Why did her mother insist on hording this collection of mirrors? She sometimes would sell them off, but it was just such an bizarre hobby.
Walking into her room, she found a new note from her friend, who had disappeared a while ago giving her the wishing stone.
When did I get this? I should have read it right away...
"Karyn, this will be hard to explain, but whatever you've done with the stone has changed the properties of mirrors to people who used it. We're not sure as to the extent of the changes, but definitely be more careful.
-Nyra"
'Nyra?' Who?
Wait, is that a reflection of Karyn?
This was too much...
