A second sooner than Tracy did Gwen touch the ring while Becky was still holding the ring in her hand. At that same time when the two were connected through the ring, the souls of Becky and Gwen left their respective bodies and ended up in the ring itself. The ring used it's magic to switch the two souls around, placing Becky's soul inside of Gwen's body and vice versa. This all happened in just a second.
When Becky woke up she felt something was different about herself, but didn't know what exactly. She felt weird too like she had been sleeping way too long and she was just waking up.
"Here's some coffee for you." George said holding a cup of coffee.
"George, you know that I don't like it." Becky pouted.
"Um, are you feeling okay? I've never known you before Gwen." George said as he handed the coffee to Becky.
Gwen, what is he talking about? Is this some kind of new joke or something like that? Becky wondered. It's then that Becky noticed the ring was not inside the palm of her hand anymore. Speaking of her hand, her hand looked different. Much more paler in complexion. Gwen then took a look at the right and got the biggest shock in her life. Next to her George was handing a cup of tea to a very familiar looking girl, Becky herself. But how could she be there and here at the same time?"
Gwen looked confused at the cup of tea just like Becky had been with the coffee. Becky lightly touched the other Becky's shoulder. When the other Becky looked at her, an expression of shock was revealed on her face.
"Are you girls okay? You look a bit out of it?" George asked the two while they were still staring at each other.
"I think we need a little chat." The other Becky said grabbing hold of Becky's hand and went inside the café to the restrooms. The restroom was empty when they came inside.
"Okay, let me assume that you're Becky right?" The other Becky asked her.
"Yeah, but who are you?" Becky asked but then caught sight of her reflection. Standing at her spot in the mirror was the reflection of Gwen wearing the blue dress with underneath the flats she was wearing. How was this possible?
"Oh my, and you're Gwen right?" Becky asked with Gwen nodding to her question.
"This is really weird. I mean how could we have switched bodies like that?" Becky asked Gwen.
"It must be that ring, this one right here." Gwen said as she hold out her hand and revealed the ring.
"Do you think we will switch back if we touch it again?" Becky asked as she reached out to touch the ring. But before she could do that Gwen closed her hand and within it the ring.
"Not so fast Becky, why not have some fun right now?" Gwen said smiling for the first time.
"Huh?" Becky asked confused.
"I mean we are in each other's bodies right now. That's not possible without the use of something like this. No one will ever suspect we will have swapped bodies."
"Where do you want to go with this?" Becky asked.
"I mean, why don't we try out each other's lives for a while? I mean I can pretend to be you and you can pretend to be me." Gwen suggested.
"Well I guess so. I mean we can switch back after it, right?" Becky asked to be sure.
"I believe so. Now come on, we better get back to the rest before they think it's suspicious." Gwen said holding out her hand.
