“Hi Karyn,” Sarah sighed.

“What are you doing here!” Karyn fumed.

“Just trying to make friends. You could try it some day,” Sarah retorted.

Karyn stood there and growled menacingly.

“You’re looking very cute today Karyn,” Sarah sighed.

For just a moment, as she stood there, Karyn raised her tail up, before lowering it.

“I’ve always been a sucker for cats, especially such a cutie pie,” Sarah continued. “Maybe we could be friends too.”

Despite being fully feline, Karyn’s face successfully displayed deep confusion, as she looked up.

Sarah didn’t waste time going on the offensive while Karyn was taken off guard. She dismounted from the kitchen chair and landed in all fours, to stand at eye level with Karyn. She stepped forward, while Karyn almost retreated, but overpowered the impulse and stood her ground. Sarah moved to Karyn’s right ear and whispered something so quietly that I wouldn’t have heard it if not for Sarah’s wishing I would have essentially super-hearing, “maybe we could be more. All three of us. What would you think of that?”

Karyn stood there on her four paws, motionless, aside from her right ear giving one single flick at Sarah’s whisper before both ears flattened against the top of her head and her tail puffed up, not even breathing for a few seconds.

“Could all of us have dinner together?” Sarah said louder, for my dad to hear, as she got back in the chair, glancing back at Karyn with a playful smile.

I was still confused about the time. I looked at the kitchen clock. It said it was 9:30. So no, the privacy magic hadn’t stopped time in the rest of the house. They were really just eating dinner at 9:30 pm?

“Rrara…” I quietly mrowed to Sarah. “Rrara…” I said again. Unfortunately everyone looked at me. I pointed at the clock on the wall with a whole paw. Sarah followed the direction and saw the clock, and looked back at me, confused.

“Dinner at 9:30 though?” Sarah asked. Fortunately she had gathered the meaning I had intended, and was no doubt a bit bewildered as well about it.

“When do you normally have dinner?” my dad asked.

Sarah looked hesitant to answer. Maybe amidst all the other changes, the conventional eating times of meals were also different now? Could there be a justification for that because cats are generally crepuscular, I wondered?

“A bit, earlier, usually, but, I guess I haven’t had dinner…”

“Well it would be lovely if you joined us, Karyn. It’s nice to see my daughter having such lovely nice friends.”

“Yes, I’d like, to join you, for dinner,” Karyn said, looking between Sarah and me.

I wondered if the dark cloud hanging over Karyn would dissipate.

Dad got an extra chair from around the dining room table and brought it into the kitchen, and Karyn got in it to sit in it very much like a human. But in doing so, she kind of, really flashed everyone.

My parents were somehow indifferent to this, like it was just completely normal, of course, Karyn is a full cat, and full cats don’t wear clothes. Nothing out of the ordinary there.

Wow. Her 6 breasts were… very… furry, yet very, out in the open.

Sarah shouldn’t have resumed nibbling on her food because she did an actual spit take at the sight, and then continued staring, entranced, while I tried to just barely look while pretending to look away.

Under Sarah’s open-mouthed gaze, Karyn at first looked violated, and then a little smile appeared on her kitty face. It was a face that seemed to say, “oh, you like what you see?”

“Mrooow…” I quietly said. I wished I could remind Sarah that Karyn was our best chance at some sort of damage control, and the only feasible way we could use the stone at this point. But I guess the situation is under control now.

I looked at Karyn, who was now next to me, to my left while Sarah was on my right. Not bad, I thought, one on each side of me, this is pretty nice.

But my thoughts were derailed when Karyn whispered into my left ear, “I can smell you. I know what you two did.”

My own ear flicked reflexively. “Meow…” I said.
