Jon was nervous as he walked up to the front of the fraternity. Lights were inside and music could be heard inside. He walked to the door. He half expected there to be a bouncer but he realized that didn’t really make sense. Why would a frat hire a bouncer after all? He knocked and waited.
And waited.
No one came.
He was about to turn away when a couple came up behind him and let themselves in. Looking around he followed them in. He had never been to a party this large before. Music thumped, and a spinning light globe had been set up casting moving circles of lights across the walls and ceilings. At one end drinks were being distributed. Jon was so taken by the novelty he didn’t notice Sarah approach.
“I’m glad you came,” Sarah said smiling.
“Uh. Yeah, thanks. I’ve never been to one of these before,” Jon replied feeling a little weird that someone like Sarah was even having a conversation with him.
“I can see that,” Sarah said following Jon’s gaze into the party. “What did you think it was going to be more raunchy?” Sarah smirked.
