Jon made a noise. "Please...I was just...studying the changes. It was scientific curiosity." Sarah gave Jon a skeptical look and he relented. "Fine...I looked. But she's too young for me anyway."
"Jon...how old do you think Mollie is?" Sarah said, suspiciously.
"I don't know." He replied. "Young..."
"And she's too young for you?"
"Well...I am..." Jon paused, then frowned. "That's weird. I just...She just seems young to me suddenly."
"All of this is definitely affecting you," Sarah said.
"Not just me," Jon said. "It seems like it is hard to notice because we've been focused on some of the changes over others."
"I think we'd better go talk to our hus...to Lucy and Laura." Sarah said.
Outside, Lucy and Laura had broken into two cold beverages and were sitting there talking when someone with long black hair, dressed in a maid's uniform, moved past them with a small cart of food, and started setting it up on the patio. Both of them watched with some interest as they did so, out of the corner of their eyes as they continued talking.
Mollie and Biff, having seen that the food wasn't ready, had gone into the den, and found Karyn sitting there playing video games quietly.
