The phrase "I wish" grabbed Zendaya's attention, but she felt relieved when she realized that she still had the stone in her own hand. She then made it a point to not let Myka use the stone, no matter how much she tried to. Not just because of the wish she had made that morning (which had changed many people, though Zendaya still didn't know to what extent), but also because Myka didn't exactly seem like the most trustworthy person. Surely, she'd make wishes to serve her own desires, which didn't seem all that pure, in Zendaya's opinion.
"So, when are you going to let me use that stone?" Myka asked, after applying some fresh make-up. Already, she was thinking up some great ideas for wishes.
"Haven't you changed enough today?" Zendaya asked her.
"No...I live in a much nicer house...Mom's a rich powerful lawyer...Dad still has a wife he likes. You aren't a loser anymore...although you can be a bit dull sometimes. Clearly wishes make everything better."
"If they do, why do you need to make more?"
"You know...a few little tweaks here and there..." Myka commented. "Maybe wish up my perfect guy. Sexy, well-hung, fun...you know, like me."
