Linda leaned into Tessa's cubicle. "Tessa," she said to the woman who had been her co-worker. "Can you get me the Madison file?" She asked. She had just convinced Gary Fiennes to put her on the case. Not that it was that hard. He was pretty easy to manipulate...especially with her being one of his most valuable employees.
She walked into what had just recently had been an empty office, wearing an attractive business suit and skirt that showed off assets she'd developed, not that she noticed. She looked good, felt good, and was moving up the ladder...intending to make partner someday. Linda didn't know it, but having her life infuenced by Sarah McMillan had made her much more successful professionally. Between that, and some changes in her personal life, she was now one of the firm's top litigators.
Meanwhile, it was starting toward the end of the day, and Stephanie found herself looking for Myka to see if she needed a lift home. She should be leaving PE right about now. She got there just in time to spot Myka with one of her friends. Myka was blossoming into an attractive young woman.
