Jon heard the wish as he chased Michelle down the hall, and to the stairs. He saw the stone glow, indicating the wish had been granted.
Since this was the Random Stone, however, the wish had not been granted to Michelle. Instead, Jon felt himself changing, his body mass shifting. His hair lengthened, his face and body became more feminine in appearance, and his clothes became an expensive-looking casual girl's sweater, skirt, pantyhose, and three-inch heels. Jon had become a very attractive girl, whose long dark-blond hair was held adorned with a jeweled headband.
As Michelle ran down the stairs, she turned and gasped. How had Jon turned into a girl? That wasn't part of her wish at all. And the clothes and the headband... they looked expensive.
Whatever, Michelle decided. She needed to get out of there before someone took the stone from her. She rushed out the front door, determined to hold on to the wishing stone.
Jon, meanwhile, was about to resume the chase when a voice spoke.
