Nicole paced back and forth in front of the boy's locker room. She'd gone into the girl's locker room and changed into what she'd found, which was fairly loose fitting and comfortable. But Jon still hadn't come out and she'd only been gone a second.
Female clothing was so much easier to work with now. No bras, less emphasis on sexuality and more on utility. She'd gotten changed in a snap.
"Excuse me," a soft voice said. "I...want to get in."
Nicole turned. Standing there in a pair of gym shorts and a shirt was an extremely sexy boy. Jon was cute, but objectively speaking, this boy's curves put him to shame. And he seemed to be wearing a top a size too small for him. "Sorry. Can you see if Jon is still in there and tell him I'm still waiting?"
The boy paused. She could see his hands shaking a bit. "What does he look like?"
"What do you mean?"
"Everyone looks like...different. I don't recognize anyone."
Nicole hadn't thought of that. "Well...if there is anyone in there...just say I'm waiting, okay?" The boy didn't seem to be listening. "Do you hear me?"
"Yeah."
"What's wrong with you?" Nicole said.
"I don't know," he whispered. "I don't feel like me."
There was a lot of that going around. Nicole wondered if she was the only one who wasn't completely shell-shocked. Well...Sarah, but Sarah wasn't exactly the best example. She clearly was still a self-centered brat.
