Jon stuck to his original plan, though. "Come on in and sit down," he said. Zoe walked into his room and perched on the edge of his bed as he shut the door and then turned to face her.
"I'm sorry, too," he said. "I wasn't as honest as I should have been." He dug the rock out of his pocket and held it up for Zoe's benefit. "Remember that package I got last week from Granddad's estate? This was in it."
"A rock?" asked Zoe.
Jon quickly looked around for a suitable demonstration. His eyes happened upon the red bedspread that Zoe was sitting on top of. "I wish the bedspread on my bed was blue," he said.
The rock flashed as Zoe looked down and saw the color of the fabric zoom through the spectrum, taking a second and a half to shift from red through yellow and green until it got to blue. She jumped up as if her backside were on fire and yelled, "Holy shit!"
"So you're more surprised by that than by your boobs suddenly growing?" Jon couldn't help smirking.
"That time I heard the wish, so I know you got exactly what you wanted!" exclaimed Zoe. "So that thing can do anything?"
Jon shrugged. "Yeah, as far as I know. But you were right, I'm a big perv -- what I did was wish that I had the power to change women's chests, and then I tried it out on you."
"Jon, don't take this the wrong way, but you're an idiot," pointed out Zoe. "So you've had that rock for a week -- I'm surprised you don't have a harem consisting of all the women of 'Star Trek.'"
"There's a couple of restrictions," said Jon. "The magic only works within a radius of a few miles --"
"Okay, a harem consisting of half the girls at your school," said Zoe. "Or, heck, you've got a friend who looks a lot like Jessica Simpson -- you could wish you were Karyn's fuck buddy instead of just platonic friends."
"Funny you should mention that..." began Jon.
