Nick looked back to see Mike coming back out, dressed in the hotel robe "No, no, it's OK... it's all an accident, and I'm fine" Nick flexed a bit "Just a bit bruised, I think. No harm done, and anyway it's my fault for just barging in, I guess. I do need my card back though."
Mike, still red-faced, nearly scrambled over to the dresser. "Right... here it is" he looked it over "Ya this looks like yours... I didn't even think to check before. Are you sure you still want me to go over there? It's totally OK if you want to call it off!"
Nick decided to have a small bit of fun "actually, I think it's best if you don't come to my room..." he waited until he could see Mike's poor attempt at concealing his look of defeat, before adding "seeing as the TV is out of order... I originally came over to see if we could do it here." Mike's face changed so fast Nick half-expected a sonic boom. "But I see you're not quite ready for me... or maybe just way too optimistic." He added playfully, trying to diffuse the mood, without getting Mike's hopes up too much. Just then, looking down, Nick noticed that maybe Mike's hopes weren't the thing he had to worry about getting up.
Nick thought to himself "maybe this isn't a good idea, after all", but he knew that cancelling now would be too mean. So he just placed Mike's key card on the table and headed out, saying "Be back in a few minutes, but I'll knock... just be sure to hear it and open for me, OK?"
