Nick had frozen up, and didn't react quickly enough "“ Mike crashed into him and they both went down in a heap, and both crying out in surprise.

On the floor, Nick found himself under a large naked man, and started to push him off, his hands pressing against Mike's abs and chest. Meanwhile, Mike fumbled off clumsily, half-blinded by the towel.

"Nikki?!" he exclaimed "what... I'm so sorry... I didn't see you... how did you?" he broke off, covering himself up as well as he could while rolling off of the woman that he had knocked over. He was flushed, and completely flustered.

Nick managed to sit up "It's OK... I knocked, and then called out, but you didn't answer... I guess it was 'cause you were in the shower", he rubbed his shoulder and hips, which had absorbed the impact. Fortunately, the room was covered in plush carpeting, or it would have hurt a lot more.

"But how did you get in here?" Mike asked. Any doubt that Nick had over whether the switch-up was deliberate disappeared on seeing his look. Nick was also turning red. Though partly from embarrassment, Nick still had a good view of his chest and abs, and this plus the memory of his hands pressing against Mike's body had triggered a different kind of warmth in him.

"You gave me the wrong key card. When I couldn't get back into my room, I used it to get in here." Nick now managed to stand, waving off Mike's proffered hand, wary of any further feelings, and now blushing more than ever, and looked away studiously.

Mike now stepped back into the bathroom and grabbed a bathrobe from inside. He put in on behind the door, while stammering "I'm so sorry...I just thought a quick shower would be good, I mean, I must stink, after all the travelling... not that you do" he added quickly "I was sitting in the airport a lot longer than you, and everything... you're fine, I mean... anyway, I guess I should just let you go back to your room, I'm sure you want to just forget about all this and get some sleep."
