It occurred to Nick that while he had been OK so far walking around as a woman, up to now it had almost always been around Mike, where he was comfortable and not really thinking about it. He didn't really know how to act like a woman in a real social setting "“ like a dinner date in a restaurant, where all kinds of people may be staring. Nick thought about it for a second and decided that he didn't really want to have to deal with that pressure.
"I don't really have anything nice to wear... what if we just stay here and order room service?" Nick asked.
Mike looked surprised, but beamed "sounds even better! Should we use your room or mine?"
"Well, how about mine, since you went through so much trouble to arrange it... I don't have much to unpack, but you do, so why don't you go get set up, and then come back and knock" Nick didn't want to give Mike the impression that he would be staying with 'Nikki' overnight, after all.
Mike was smiling "Sounds good. See you soon!" He then headed down the hallway to his door, where the porter was holding Mike's door open and waiting, having dropped off his bags.
Nick proceeded into the room. It was pretty nice, with a sitting room that was completely separate from the bedroom, with a large TV, nice couch and a couple of leather recliners, all in a very modern design. A split-level balcony led off it with a nice view of the city away from the strip, with another door to it from the bedroom. The bedroom itself had a nice, very soft-looking double bed with a wall mounted TV facing it, the access to the room raised and overlooking the sitting room. The bathroom had one of those full-body shower spas, and a large water-jet bathtub that had ample room for two.
"Very nice!" Nick thought to himself. He had planned to take his leave and return to the future later tonight, after Mike went off to bed in his own room, but how often did he have the chance to stay in a place like this? And the bed looked so inviting... he still had his own clothes, he could even change back into himself later tonight and try out the tub in his own body, if he wanted. He started to unpack his few clothes from Megan's little overnight bag.
