"There is one thing..." Nick teased. "I could use some dinner..."
Mike beamed "Well as it happens I believe they do have that here - there's a great restaurant downstairs, but a bit noisy..." He considered "Or I remember there's a smaller, cosier place not far away that someone told me I had to try"
Nick thouht about it... how far did he want to go? Choosing the 'cosier' place could be easily misread, but then again wasn't that the whole reason Nick hadn't gone back yet? He could make this feel like a real date to Mike, then just make up a familiy emergency back home, forcing 'Nikki' to leave early.
But then, maybe 'Nikki' should take it slow...
He smiled at Mike, and answered.
