"I have bad news, I lost the stone."
"What?!"
"I've been looking for it but I don't know maybe it only is good for one wish"
" and we wasted it on giving me your boobs and hair! Damn It!"
"Hey it's not a total waste, my family is famous for our hair and breasts!"
"Welcome to the family I guess"
The soft thud of a pillow hitting someone, then giggling.
Linda was listening from the other side of the door.
"Well, lets retrace your steps. Has it left the house?"
"I don't think so. Maybe my mom or sister picked it up, if they did they probably just tossed it in the trash or outside."
"Well lets hope that hasn't happened...Wait, what are you doing?"
"Changing, I'm going to get to the gym, tryouts are in a month and Sarah thinks she can beat me out for Head Cheerleader."
"Not this again...we have a magical stone to find! That would solve all your petty competitions with her!"
"That would be cheating! No! I want to win this for myself, myself. It's a family thing, it happened with my mom and her sister too... my mom lost out and now look at how its all turned out, my aunt is rich and powerful and we are just sort of...they hold it over our heads still! Winning this is a family pride thing. You coming?"
This made Linda tear up to hear. She moved away from the door.
As the girls walked out the door the last things Linda overheard were the words "you should think of joining the team, you've got all the assets for it now."
"Oh yeah, all you need are some tits and hair to be a world class cheerleader."
The door closed.
Linda had an idea, and she had found her candidate for the worlds best cheerleader, right under her nose. She needed to find whatever magical thing in this house was making these changes! Then she needed to make just a few more. But where to start looking?
