"Hmm," said Jane. "Maybe we can... kill you. I wish Jon was dead."
As suddenly as the wish was uttered, Jon's body collapsed and fell to the floor. There was no more life left in him, just a crumpled corpse clinging to a magic rock.
"Jane, what is wrong with you?!" shouted Karyn.
"He shouldn't exist," Jane replied, "He was a time anomaly, and life would have just been difficult for him."
"Did it occur to you that if he was right, then you were the time anomoly?" Karyn returned.
"Oh," Jane said, "Oops. Well, now we have two wishing rocks. One for each of us. Let's keep casually chatting as my dead brother from another time-line rots in the hallway."
Karyn said, "Sounds good to me."
"You grab this guy's rock," said Jane as she turned away, "meet me up in my room."
Once Jane was out of Karyn's earshot, she whispered "I wish Karyn couldn't make any wishes that do bad things to me." They may have shared a good amount of DNA, but Jane was a lot more conniving than Jon.
As Karyn opened the door to Jane's room, she said "That was disgusting! Never make me touch a dead guy ever again, do you hear me?" She brandished her rock and said "I wish you-- I wish you-- I, I... I wish you never have to do something like that."
