Getting in our way, Mark Tremor accosted us in the locker room. He was demanding another title shot against Robbie. I guessed the GM had a point. We did tank the prestige of the Intercontinental Champions. A jobber held it. I also had to add that this heel jobber had a whole stable able to cheat at ungodly levels to get him to retain. I would have to guess that no one serious wanted to waste their time on it. Sean Aston got buried by 3 nobodies. Who in their right mind would let their name get dragged through the mud with a disgraceful defeat? Clearly, the were waiting for a different jobber to take it off him. A transitional champion like that would be easy to knock off. As a strategist, that was the best option. There was no rematch clause in a lowly jobber's contract. When we lost our belts, we would likely never see them again. At the very least, the jobbers would never be allowed to challenge for them. "You can only win by cheating! Let's run it back in a No Disqualification match." "Robbie's beaten you multiple times. Why would you get this shot again?" I asked. "I didn't ask you!!" he spat.
Percy Angelus, the Hardcore Champion, wandered over to see what the commotion was about. "You might as well indulge him. I hear that the title is going to be vacated if you can't bring in some good ratings." he said. "Percy. I have been winning matches left and right. I want to face you for the Hardcore Championship." Percy just rolled his eyes. "Not a chance, loser. I didn't earn this title and defend it 3 times in a row against all odds just to be screwed out of it by you losers!" he snapped. I had an idea. I just had to push it here. "Looks like we have 2 high and mighty champions and 2 upstart challengers. I can solve this. Lets have a tag team match tonight. It will be the team of Robbie Ottie and Alex Boycott vs. Percy Angelus and Mark Tremor. If we win the match, Alex gets a title shot next week. If we lose here, you 2 get to have a #1 contenders match to see who will face Robbie at the pay-per-view." I proposed. Mark was in. Percy looked at the 3 involved. "Sounds like an easy way to be a double champion." he said confidently. Their match was the main event. You had 2 champions.
