Just like that, the wrench that was Gakita put a massive halt to Hoshiko's plot. Tsukasa loved Hoshiko. If only Moto was alive, the fear and tragedy could be seized upon in the crisis. She could use Tsukasa's grief and paranoia into blaming everything on Moto and Masahiko. From there, it would not be hard to have them executed as traitors or killed in other devious ways. We did have a big issue with people wanting to kill people in the castle. The big guild of assassins constantly sent many inhumane freaks out to kill me and the assassin brothers who defected. Of course, the blame would be on them if people ended up dead randomly. Hoshiko could just make up a reason that painted Moto as the one who betrayed us and aided the murder of the concubines. concubines were a thorn in her side from the beginning. She might have been the wife, but she was a beta female. She was not able to bear as many kids as a single omega. Competing with 5 was just insanity. Out of the 11 children Tsukasa had, only 2 betas were hers. Even getting rid of the 5 omegas did not do much for her.

Killing had a double purpose throughout the phases of their plot. Killing the 7 alpha children meant that the succession was indeed secure for Akane Clan. Killing off all of the concubines meant that there was no chance for any more new children to become heirs in the future. As it stood, there were only 2 possible heirs for the castle town now. Those were Hayashi and Masahiko. With Gakita still alive and with his 100% buff to fertility, he would be pregnant the moment Tsukasa bust a nut inside him. Moto was also someone with no qualms of seducing Tsukasa when he was in the mood for sex and affection. With Gakita, it was much harder to claim that Moto was guilty of treason. It could also be Gakita, the master herbalist who just admitting to curing themselves of the poisoning. Smiling, I stepped in. It was time to end this charade. "This is not good. We should call the children back home. The shock and horror when they see what has become of their parents will be so heart breaking. I'll send Kazane and Fuuto out now." I said. "NOOO!!!" Hoshiko cried out loud. We all just looked at her.

Like I thought, she knew that this would destroy her plans. This was the predetermined day for the murders to take place. If my winged Protectors flew out to them, there was no guarantee that they would all be dead. She was a shrewd woman. Hoshiko knew that, even weakened by poison, the 4 alphas would be difficult to kill. They would not go down without a fight. If even a single one of them were still alive by the time Kazane and Fuuto got there, all the Akane Clan faction's heads would roll. The plot would be revealed. The only one who knew everything was me. Hayashi and Hoshiko knew of the concubine murders. Masahiko knew about the murders of his siblings. All other people were completely in the dark. That was fine by me. I was the Sage after all. "What do you mean by that, my lady?" was all I asked. It was all I had to. She composed herself quickly and said "This horrible scene is not a sight any child should see. At least wait until their mission is over to bring them back. We also have to prepare for all the funerals." Tsukasa bought it all. I had nothing to say to that.
