Leading off with Kurt, slowly each family member picked from the hat in order of oldest or youngest. The tradition was simple to follow as everyone knew not to open their piece of paper until everyone had gone. Tension was built with each name that was drawn with Carly being the last one to select a name. For her, she didn’t really have many options as a single piece of paper remained in the hat when it was her turn. As she pulled the last piece out, everyone glanced around to ensure that everyone had a name.
“Everyone ready?” Kurt asked as everyone nodded. With that, everyone opened their piece of paper to reveal whose body they’d be in for the rest of the year. Gasps and a few groans could be heard as everyone found out their new bodies in real time.
