Losing what we built was not acceptable. This was what I had the Maruyama Clan established here for. I called in Tsukasa and Gakita. They came to see me. I simply cut to the chase. "Tsukasa, I need you to lead this castle town as it's new lord. The other Sages and I have an honor code. None of us can rule people of these lands. We can only support and advise. I was sent here and made a free settlement. My Protectors were created to do their jobs. Gakita was one of them. The new people are getting unruly as there is no law that can bind them other than when Ichigo, Niko and Santa beats them up. You can lead this castle town for us." I said. He looked totally surprised. A moment passed before he looked me right in the eyes. "I accept the mandate to rule, Sage." he said humbly. From that point on, he was announced to all of the people in the castle town as the lord. People did not know much about him. He lived in the mountains with his mate. Tsukasa was not a lowly ronin anymore. People largely accepted it. Why not? He also had Gakita as someone who could really fight.

It was not enough. My warriors were for the castle. Then again, there could be some volunteers from those living here. They were already starting to form militia. All of them had agreed to it at first. When they saw Gakita as a figure in the new court, they criticized it. They did not like seeing omegas having power over them. Tsukasa largely left things to the status quo. Even the Protector commoners had a lot more rights. Seeing as the newcomers all refused to play nice, I told all of the commoners to unionize and form an organization so that they did not get abused or cheated. Haggling no longer worked on them with their set prices for services. When the people complained to Tsukasa about it, he just stared at them. "Are you scoundrels complaining that law abiding residents don't like being abused? I have half a mind to flog you in public." That was the last time they complained openly. Ichigo, Niko and Santa also made them frustrated in the sense they were powerless to defeat them. It was easy for those craftsmen and food sellers to collaborate. They came from the same region.
