Before time started back up, Jon stared at his best friend. Why hadn't he asked her out? Did he like being friends? It was a comfort thing, Jon supposed. The Gamer can acquire members in his harem through the collect skill. Up to 20 can be collected at any time. Gamer must have space for another member, or the oldest member will be removed from the list. Members of the harem will provide bonuses, which initial uniqueness correlates with harem power. Harem power is out of 5 stars. As Harem points, which is out of 10, increase, the power of the bonus increases and the more suggestible the member is to the Gamer's requests. Harem points can be increased though love potions, which work the same on all members, or gifts and quests which provide more points, but are unique to each harem member. Skills used on harem members require 25% less mana, unless stated otherwise. Harem members cannot harm Gamer. Gamer can always sense where harem members are in relation to his position.
Jon was processing this new wrinkle as he was making small talk at dinner with all 3 Blacks. The chimichurri sauce was done perfectly, as was everything else. It was a very protein rich meal, but delicious. Jessi encouraged Jon to stay after dinner for a movie.
