Jon stepped out of the shower, fumbling through the dissipating fog for his school clothes. He frantically realized the clothes he brought with him in here, all of them, were gone. Even his towel was gone.
Maybe the stone did this, but how? Why?
Covering himself as best as he could, he resolved to run to his bedroom, getting the hallway wet as he bolted to hide his shame from his younger siblings. Stepping through the threshold of his room, Jon emerged to a familiar sight: Karyn's room. He made his way over to her closet to find some of her old softball and tennis outfits from a few years back, relieved to have finally found something to wear to school today.
Karen, meanwhile eating breakfast with her mother, suddenly spilled her orange juice all over her favorite green jumper.
"Ugh... excuse me, mom, I'll be right back!" Karyn sprinted up to her room and opened the door to find herself in Sarah McMillan's room. Not wanting to waste time, Karyn flicked through the immense wardrobe until she found exactly what she was thinking of: the princess outfit Sarah had worn for Halloween two years ago. It was her trusty back up whenever anything happened to her jumper.
