Another cheap mission was to take inventory of the labs. I spaced it out so each lab was its own mission. Everyone got to benefit off of it. Robin was able to absorb their colored nanites until he was back to the volume he had before. He was probably a bit denser now. I did not want to be bogged down by this anymore. Several new chips were made. If there were any duplicates or inferior versions, they were able to keep them for themselves. I told them to leave me alone. None of them could say I did nothing for them. They were nearly ready to rank up. I praised them as they left. Robin looked at me. "What should I do now?" he asked. I just blinked. "What are you talking about Robin? I told you that you can continue dancing at the Red Grind. Don't you still want to do that?" I asked. He nodded his head. "I do. I still want to know what you want me to do. You are a great officer." he said. At least one of our AEP units felt that way. I thanked him for the compliment and sent him on his way. He finally nodded and left with a smile on his face. There were things that I needed to check on.
Since moving on with a coalition was not up to me alone, I decided to check in on 10-003. He was still a Conqueror. We did not need leaks or sabotage to our clan happening here. Since he was part of Toxic Clan, he was off by himself. Even the other AEP units in the clan did not play with him. They did not like that he was pregnant with a human's baby. It was pretty cool in my opinion. With everything that had happened and his high level of evasiveness, I was not there for him when he had the baby. That was pretty sad. If he had asked me, I would have been there to help him. When I apologized to him, he scoffed and turned his face from me. "I don't need a human to guide me in anything. It was only a matter of expelling the low quality nanites and the human tissue." he said in a huff. I just looked at him. "You should praise yourself more. I think that it is a massive task. Humans need to have some assistance in order to ensure the mom and baby are okay. Doing this by yourself only proves you are as strong and beautiful as the day I met you." I said. 10-003 looked stunned.

He did not have a response. 10-003 looked down with a frown on his face. "You don't need to remind me. I am a nearly perfect being." he hissed. I pulled him into a hug to comfort him. 10-003 did not like that at all. "Unhand me, human!" he demanded. I asked to see where our child was. He shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know where that half breed is currently." he said dispassionately. I gave him a double take. "What do you mean you don't know? It's your child. Aren't you both lonely!?" I asked. He pushed me back by my chest. "I don't need to be coddled by other cyborgs. I would rather be killed than spend time doting on a lowly half breed!" he shouted. I had now heard enough. He wanted to mope around. "Where do you think they might be? There is a nice nursery here, but they can take any form they want." I asked. 10-003 had no clue. I sighed. Finding him would be a very big hassle. I had to scour the whole clan building. Going into every single room was annoying. He was not there. It meant I had to go into the apartments that we placed down for the human clerics and paladins.
