Just a replica would be left after the year was over. At the end of the year, the Burke Cup would begin again. The trophy would therefore need to be returned. IPTB would reclaim it and present the national sports committee with a replica and a commemorative photo of the time it was presented to the team. For now, Breaca had the original trophy and could display it. The king's guards then took measures to assure the royal family was able to leave safely. From there, local police escorted the members and their families inside the hall of the amphitheater. That was when everyone else was dismissed and allowed to go home. Bruce came up to them. "You did it. We had discussed a 5 year career. Our profits have increased drastically since we have sponsored you. Keep it up." he said. Mitchel could not afford the high priced seats. He was from the northern part of the country so he could not make use of the free seating. There was not a single thing that they could do aside from eat. The amphitheater gave the region a certain level of culture. They all liked music and dancing.
The rustic life of farming and ranching was the life of a majority of people here. There were cities and towns in the region, of course. That meant there were people doing jobs needed for a city to function. Even there, the fashion and trends were highly linked to what the farmers and ranchers wanted. They understood most of all that all their food came from the land. Deference to those that gave the food to them was culturally enforced. It was much like how people gave deference to military veterans in the real world. Bruce wanted to take them to a fancy restaurant known for fillet mignon. Anna said "That sounds very nice, but we should have a better experience if we go to a local hole in the wall. We can buy it out and try the authentic food of the area." Uncharacteristically, Bruce said "Hmm. That does seem nice. I would hate being gawked at by others wishing us both well and ill while eating." Zoe, Anna and Molly asked the several people lingering outside the place and there was 1 place that was recommended multiple times by the people. It was called "Buckley's BBQ".
Bruce called his assistant and they were indeed able to buy them out for 3 hours that evening. They did this by simply reserving all the tables for 10% markups of the meal they would be eating. It was a small, family owned business, so there was no set price for reserving a table there. You just sat down if there was a table and waited to be served. If there was no space during the lunch or dinner rush, you simply had to wait at the front. If you could not wait that long, you were simply out of luck. The owner came up with a random price on the fly and Bruce just added the 10% to be a dick. Anna did not care. She wanted to eat in peace. It was getting tiring being the center of attention. Especially by haters. In that way, both she and Bruce were aligned on it. Sometimes having a rich mindset was good. Things became really easy in the world. Money was a terrible master but an excellent servant. It was clear that Bruce had mastered the art of leveraging money. The brisket was heaven. So were the baby back ribs. Anna genuinely had a nice time eating food. It was so rare.
