"Fine, but you have leave after the movie ends or something, OK?" said Judy.
"Yes ma'am," replied Sam coming into the place.
John turned around on the couch and said, "Sorry Sam, but my sister totally shouldn't have let you in. John doesn't like strangers in his place, " as he glared at his sister, who just stuck her tongue out at him.
"Good thing we aren't strangers then, " replied Tom as he put the moving into the DVD player on the x-box one, "we are fellow forced travelers that shared a meal. Wow, look at these games. John looks like quite the gamer."
"He is, but he didn't like people messing with his stuff."
"John sounds a bit uptight, "countered Sam going to the kitchen and putting the 12 pack he brought down on the island. He opened two and brought them to the coffee table. To his credit, he put coasters down under them.
"You brought beer?"asked John
"Yea it's a sour Sam and I like, here, try it," offered Tom. John crossed his arms, so Judy grabbed it instead, "It's been a day, I totally need a drink." She took a few sips and licked her lips. Soon, the movie was playing. John found himself enjoying the movie, and watching then travel around the country in their food truck. Only when Sam paused the movie to use the bathroom did John notice that there were several cans on the table. Judy was talking with Sam about the movie, cooking and diners. They were talking about places they had visited when Sam came back with a few more sours, and started the movie. John was crying by the end, he felt a hand on his shoulder, "You ok?" asked Sam
"It's, like, a great movie. The way he found himself again was totally inspiring..instructiv...awesome," said John, having trouble finding the right word.
"I know! That's the best part of the movie! It's just so wholesome and plot driven, " replied Sam. As the two talked about the movie, Judy and Tom got up.
"Judy was hoping to get more sours, so she is coming upstairs, want to come Amy?" asked Tom.
"Thanks, but no. I have something I gotta do first thingy in the AM. Maybe another time?" countered John
"You should come or somethin', bro. We girls gotta stick togetha!" slurred Judy.
"Or you could stay here, sis" replied John. That got him a raspberry before Judy stumbled, causing Tom to catch her and get her back on her feet, "Judy, what would your husband say?"
"You're married?" asked Tom, "I didn't see a ring."
"Me neither." giggled Judy wiggling her ringless fingers. It must have popped off during the excitement. Even without the bling, Judy would never ever cheat on Luke. What's, like, going on? thought John.
"Coming?" asked Judy as she opened the door to go out with Tom.
"No, I'm going to chillax here. Toodles!," said John, wincing after he realized the words he used. My words are getting weirder and weirder. Even my thoughts. I totes need to change super fast
After the other three left, John checked the time. Only 30 minutes left and he could change back.
