Hearing that his children were not going to be voting the same as him was a bit embarrassing. Kevin was a Conservative. Evan's father was a Shriner. He liked the idea of safety nets, public works and charity done on a national level. Anna also liked all those things. She would never cosign the alpha supremacist views underpinning them though. With Reid and Rhys being super unique, the Labor members started to take them more seriously. Evan was also a Shriner due to his religious views, so he and his father were quite happy with all the attention that they were getting with them. After the tour was done, it was time to move to the photo opp. Even the alpha supremacists were happy. They did not like the omegas being so independent, but they were proud that these omegas came from the region that they took great pride in representing. From there, it was time for them to go to any other offices they wanted to go. Anna was the most proactive, being a Player. "Since we can all vote, can we register to vote and join the parties here? I think it would be cool." she said.
Being able to sign them up to their parties would be a major boon. All the members were the talk of the nation. It was trendy. They all agreed to do that. Anna looked over at Reid, Rhys and Molly. "I think the 4 of us would be best served in the Labor Party." she said. They agreed. Reilly said "I want to join Omegan Freedom." Ronan nodded his head. Kevin squashed that idea. "I think we'll be too busy talking to the Conservatives to do that." he said with a strained smile. Evan said "I want to join the Shriners like my dad." He then looked at his father. "Can I?" he asked. His father smiled and said "Look at that. What can I say? The apple doesn't fall far." Anna said "Okay. I'll take the boys over to Labor. You can have fun with the Conservatives." Kevin was pretty pissed. The Labor members knew they needed to strike while they could. "Sure thing. My office is right down the hall. It won't take that long to get you 4 signed up." one of the beta females said. We hurried along with them. They put some papers for voting registration in front of them. The 4 all selected Labor as their party.
Yet another photo was taken. This one was going to go up alongside the full group photo. Evan and his father also had a photo with the Shriners. Notable for the absence was a photo of Ronan and Reilly. From what Anna had heard, they tried to convince Kevin that he should make them join. No one spoke to them. It was just like their first date with Simon and Owen. They did not like it. Kevin tried to make his best case. They were not convinced. At the end, they simply declined to register at all. As the alpha head of household, Kevin would just override them and register them with the Conservatives if they signed their names to any paper. Once it was clear they could not be coaxed into doing it, they were going to call it a day. It was not a very good look for Kevin and his leadership in their office. Throwing him a bone, Reilly leaned on his shoulder. "Don't you want to talk to them about stuff!? We will wait for you." he offered. Kevin smiled despite himself and had a conversation with some politicians. He had a good time. Having an issue heard directly was rare. Owen joined up.
