John stopped for a moment and looked at the cigarette in manicured hand, and put it out on the picnic bench before saying, "I reckon it's time to move along." John got up and took some paper plates to the trash on his way out. He waved awkwardly before he lost sight of the group, then walked quickly towards his condo. On his way home, he got a text from Sara, "'ll be home soon." John closed the door, kicked off the oversized flip-flops and went back to the couch, just before Sara busted through the door.
"Hey dad, you missed...why does it smell like cigarettes in here?"
"I burned some cheese on the stove."
"No, that's not it," replied Sara sniffing the air, getting closer to John before sniffing his shift, "It's YOU!"
"...Yes, it's me."
"You went out without me? How was it? Did you notice anything different when you were a woman?"
"No, the only think I noticed was that this body is addicted to cigarettes. I couldn't stay still and only calmed down once someone gave me one."
"That's fascinating, Dad! Of course, that makes me feel a little guilty about leaving the medallion outside the house, but don't worry, it's safe."
"HOLD YER HORSES! You didn't bring it back?"
"No, I did what I said I was going to do."
"I can't believe you'd do that to me."
"I can't believe you'd leave me hanging, dad. I just wanted to hang out. Anyway, I can pick it up later."
"No, you will pick it up now, missie."
"Com'on dad, it's only for a night. Please?" pleaded Sara. John took a deep breath, then another before replying, "I don't like this Sara. I just want to be me again."
"Just one night, we go out for you to see what it is like for a woman. It will be so helpful for my capstone paper this semester in gender studies."
John eventually yielded to his daughter. He agreed to pretend to be his date at a restaurant for the evening after going to a pop-up farmer's market, so they could both take note of how things would go as the other gender. Sara laid an outfit out on John's bed for him to change into while she put on another shirt. John thought about calling it off when he saw the dress, and underwear, but then remembered he didn't have the medallion or any hints as to where it was. He stripped down, finally getting naked for the first time. He tried to look down, but only saw breasts. He twisted and turned to try to check himself out, causing some swaying. His butt looked massive, no wonder those shorts felt so tight. He grabbed the slip panties from the bed. He put them on one leg at a time, and pulled them up. He felt them snugly around his new curves and flat crotch. He then grabbed the matching bra, holding it up by 1 strap. He had seen Robin put a bra on many times, and talk about different styles, but never truly paid attention. He made the executive decision to not wear it, then decided to not wear the panties either. He put on the dress and left his room. Sara was in the kitchen having some water. She shook her head, "Cleo, what are you doing? That dress is not meant to go braless."
"I am not wearing a bra," declared John. Sara just pursed her lips and nodded before asking, "Do you want help with your makeup?"
"I'm not wearing make up either. I want this done. And don't call me Cleo"
"Then what should I call you? I can't call you dad or John." John took a moment before replying, "Cleo is fine."
