River and Lake were not very happy at the end of the excursion. Ocean loved fighting the demons. I made sure to let them get to bed after giving them a snack. Because they were only hybrids, they could taste mortal food. The energy gained by entering dreams boosted their mana. They all liked eating things unlike their parents. All food tasted like ashes in my mouth. The greater water elemental saw no reason to eat. His body was made out of pure energy. He thought that it was beneath him. Italian ice, sherbet and juices of all flavors were their favorite. Even if the greater water elemental said that, he would mooch on them if it melted. At that point, he could drink it up. It was petty, but we all had to find ways to live. His whole life was a massive compromise after getting pregnant. The children did not mind sharing it with their stern father figure. With that done, I knew that they could handle some combat. If they had their spell books and components they would dominate. Humans, goblins and gnolls were way weaker than demons. Eventually, Xavier was ready to go to Robal City.
Being that it was far away, we had to go there by train. His mother had actually been really happy he was now able to be his own man and leave the nest, so to speak. It meant a lot to both of them. She had just about given up on him. Now that they could actually do some magic together, they had regained that special bond they had when Xavier was a much younger boy. I was happy for him. We had agreed to meet Xavier at the train station. We charmed tickets out of the woman in the ticket booth. I had the money. Why pay when we did not have to!? Mazerrith was coming with me. Xavier came, rolling his suitcase along the ground, at 2:30. He had all of his clothes, toiletries and entertainment packed away in the case. He looked at us in confusion when he saw we did not have luggage. We were fiends. We did not need that crap. As a human, he did. Hygiene was nice, but we had our natural pheromones that would not repulse people. It would draw them in. It did not matter what we wore. Incubi were all simply gorgeous. All we had was a map, some phones and a wallet with ID.
