Really accomplishing nothing other than wasting precious time, in my opinion, but it was finally done. A demon stronghold had been confirmed in the city. Now the gold ranked adventurers and above could sign up. Alicia was only at the silver rank. That really sucked. All my party had been doing was enjoying their hospitality. We had the souls to pay. I decided to go to the bathhouse. It had been a long time since we had been there. They were happy to be able to go. When we got there, we were told by the owners that it was a special day. They had hired a pair of special guests to enhance the experience. It sounded good until I realized who they were talking about. It was the greater water elemental and the greater fire elemental. They looked shocked to see us. At least it wasn't a set up. Getting trapped here would be bad. Still, it was pretty upsetting to have them glare daggers at me while I washed. Some of them noticed and asked what the deal was. I shrugged and said "We had a run in with them earlier. We do not see eye to eye on a lot of things." The greater fire elemental scoffed.
Very shrewdly, I had swept the whole incident under the rug. None of the incubi knew about it. "That is just a coward's way of explaining it!" he yelled. The greater water elemental took great pains to describe the conflict between us in detail. They were ambivalent. As far as they were concerned, Kyle and Myles were mine. They had all seen me summon them. The greater fire elemental looked at me and said "You can't enslave other creatures just because you can." "Well, I can do it because of the spell that I casted. I do not oppress any of the companions I directly own. Doing that would be really bad for me in the long run. In fact, I raise their standard of living." I said firmly. Grulilan looked over at Kyle and Myles. "Do you guys want to go back to your home?" he asked them. They were fidgety. I could not say anything. I did not want others to say I intimidated them. "Well... we all long to go back to our home planes. That's true." Myles said. Kyle nodded his head. "I do too. I still think Wraxix is a very good master! He never hits us. He gave us authority in his strip club. He didn't have to."
At least I was getting some good praise over here. "He let us own the property that we conquered." Kyle finished. Myles agreed with him fully. "That is way more than any members of the servant caste would be able to achieve in our plane. Wraxix told us to study the blade and he encouraged us to mediate a lot on our element too. We advanced only because of his patronages." he added. I had nothing more to say to them now. It was time to go in. If it was a matter of them working, we should be fine. I was told they made baths 20 times better. Apparently, the greater water elemental ensured the water quality. The greater fire elemental heated it perfectly. As incubi and elementals, we were very confident about our bodies. The humans there could not stop staring at us. They loved what they saw. Grulilan and Zaranarax especially reveled in it. Since I knew that the warriors were around, I made sure to be by their side at all times. That did not stop the greater fire elemental from coming in after us. I looked at him in confusion. "Don't you need to heat the water?" I asked. "I can, inside."
