The greater fire elemental took over. "Let us inside. We have to give these 2 back to your master. He sent us on the task." They looked confused, but were willing to let us all in. We were directed to a sitting room to wait while they confirmed for themselves and received instructions on what to do with us. I had no clue who the master was, but I was not losing them so easily. "Kyle. Myles. I want you to take about 5 of the soul coins I gave you and start eating the souls in them." I directed. Everyone was shocked. "What are you doing!?" the greater water elemental snapped. "I want to see what would happen to them now. Fiends get stronger when we devour souls. Who knows how powerful their master is!?" I explained. Killing their master might be a challenge. The incubi were curious. Kyle and Myles were still mine due to the contract we had. They pulled out 5 soul coins each and began to slowly eat the souls within them. They only got through 3 before they fell to the floor gagging and convulsing. It did not look pretty. Energy wafted off of their bodies before they totally disappeared.

Kyle

Myles

Balls of energy swirled around. This time there was a lot more gold added to the normal green color. This was just like when they had advanced the first time. When their bodies reformed, the pair returned in a totally different form. The greater water elemental and the greater fire elemental freaked out. "What did you do to him, fiend!? I knew we should never have allowed you to come here! There is no elemental that looks like this!" he spat as he grabbed my collar. I could see as well as smell the fabric begin to burn in his grasp. The greater water elemental rolled his eyes and looked at Kyle and Myles in disgust. "It's clear what he did. He used those souls to pervert and corrupt them." he said with disdain clear in his tone. "This is the second time they evolved like this. I summoned them as air elementals. "They might have reached a second enlightenment, but I'll never accept them as noble air elementals." the greater fire elemental said. Kyle clutched at his head. "Ugh. I feel... burdened. Like I need to balance everything around me and order it." Myles nodded. The alignment shifted.
