Quietly, I made sure to keep them at my side. I was not going to let them get taken from me. When we were cleaned, we left. It was time to go back to the barracks. The paladins needed to suit up. The clerics had to pray. It was time to ready ourselves as well. Our spell books and components were ready. We followed them down to the warehouses. After scoping it out for a couple hours, we confirmed the demons were moving in products. On the orders of the head cleric, we went in. We spread out and slaughtered all the demons we encountered. That was easy for me. There were humans that were allied with the demons. They were not spared by us fiends. At the end of the operation, we cleared the area. It was a huge victory. Some of the clerics and paladins lost their lives. That was a price they were willing to pay. We all went to the temple to pray and celebrate. In the course of clearing out the area, we discovered a portal to the Abyss. None of them had the power to destroy it. We would need to secure it until we found someone that could. I proposed we invade. They rejected it.

Upset with the passive stance, I frowned. I wanted to invade and control territory in another plane. That was my plan this whole time. We spawned in Hell, so we all could always do that. Our levels were high for incubi. Archdevil status was not out of the question with the amount of souls we had at our disposal. Rolling through a near infinite plane would be great fun for me. Killing fiends and spreading influence would be an interesting game. I was not picky about the plane. As we were celebrating, the greater water elemental and the greater fire elemental entered the temple. They were not going to give up. Rolling my eyes, I pulled Kyle and Myles behind me. Both went right up to me. "We're taking them with us. I'm done with this farce." the greater fire elemental said. I looked at them and sighed. "I'm going with them. So I'll see this plane for myself." If I could not invade the Abyss, I could make a name for myself in the Elemental Plane of Air. I had big wings and could go ethereal. I could see myself doing well. If not, I would do it over again. I had the spell recorded in my spell book.

When it was declared so clearly, they had to respond. The greater water elemental shrugged. It did not matter to him what happened after the mission ended. It was not his plane. The greater fire elemental was not going to have it. "You have some nerve asking that after what you've done!" he snapped. I scoffed. "You can't take then from me. I'm willing to compromise and see where they used to live." I said out loud. The greater fire elemental just growled at me. The space around me heated up quite a bit as he glared. "I'll take them from you right now." he spat. I balled my fists and looked at the female paladin. "Can you watch over Kyle and Myles for me? I have to do this." She nodded her head. She said "You have my word. If they are at risk of being kidnapped from the temple, I will intervene." With that, it was time for me to walk out with the greater fire elemental. He wanted to fight me for his honor. I had to answer this with violence. Using my dagger, I cast Steel Wind Strike. It allowed me to get 3 out of 5 hits in. That had decreased his health by half. I then ran in and stabbed him.
