"Home?" Jon muttered. "So what, I just, stay here?" The mansion looked nice as hell, but a nice prison was still a prison. She had no birth certificate, no drivers license, no digital footprint, no degree of any kind... How on earth was she supposed to interact with the modern world? Sure, her new body was probably superior to her old one - she could literally feel the power in her arms, legs, core - but the other Jon had a future. What did she have now?

"No," Markus replied as he stepped out of the car and opened the door for Jon. "You go to school."

"School!?" Jon blurted out as she let herself be helped out of the car. She was still a little unsteady on her feet, and not at all used to her new height or proportions. "Back at the lab you said I couldn't let anyone know I was Jon, or draw attention to myself and now you're saying I should go back to school?"

"Well, you won't be going back as Jon, and a new student at Lake View Academy isn't exactly going to create a news story," Markus snarked back. It was clear the scientist was tired.

Jon gestured up and down at herself, her boobs jiggling slightly from the rapid movement. "uh, hello? One, I look like I should be in college at least, not highschool. And two, I have no ID! If I turn up as someone who's not in any system anywhere, that's going to raise a few red flags."

"I told you," Markus snapped, "we have an identity for you."

oh, right they had said that. It had sort of flown by in the blur of everything going on. Slightly deflated Jon asked, "you do? How? I mean, I was an accident right."

Rachel interceded, "yes, but I was originally planning to transfer my consciousness to that body, so I'd naturally already prepared an ID to go along with it. Now, I wasn't planning to swap identities for another three years, so even though you're physically around 20, on paper you're still 17, but actually that works since you need to finish Highschool anyway." Rachel readjusted her glasses, "I already have the birth certificate saying you're my deceased brother's illegitimate daughter by a mother who's no longer around either. I was planning to fake you, I mean me, oh well, I mean that identity discovering I'm they're aunt, post a few sappy social media messages about reconnecting, and then have a plausible reason to leave all my stuff to my new body, but it works out here too. We'll have to mock up some custody paperwork and get you transferred into school, but Markus has more money than god, so that shouldn't be too hard."

Markus let out a long sigh.

"Then, uh, who am I?" Jon asked meekly, or as meekly as she could with her new naturally clear, carrying voice. "I mean, if you have a birth certificate, uh, what's the name on it?

"Seraphina Victoria von Lilien," Markus replied with a shit eating grin.

"Wha-" Jon half muttered. "That- That's like the name an over the top middle schooler gives they're DND character!"

"I thought it was good," Rachel said a bit stiffly, blushing.
