A few short hours later the two of them were making their way into the club in their new dresses. They quickly found Leon and Jezza waiting nervously by the entrance to the VIP lounge. Leon was dressed in Jeans, a white t-shirt and a black overshirt, and Jezza was also in jeans, but with a linen shirt buttoned halfway up.
“Come on boys, let’s party!” Zoe grinned, grabbing Leon’s hand and dragging him with her.
“You look…nice” Linda smiled at Jezza.
“Thanks, so do you” he winked back. The four of them made their way to the bar, and Zoe ordered a round of shots, and then another three.
“Damn girl!” Leon chuckled, “we wouldn’t have pre-gamed so much if we knew we’d be going in this hard”
“Hopefully you’ll be going in harder later” Zoe replied with a wry smile, causing Leon to choke on his drink. Zoe held back a laugh as she downed all four of her shots one after the other.
“So if you’ve been pre-gaming, I guess we’ve got some catching up to do!” She said as she slammed the final glass back down on the bar.
The rest of the night went by in a haze of shots, cocktails, and dancing. Once the club began kicking people out, the four of them staggered out into the warm night air.
“So you girls want to come back to ours?” Jezza asked hopefully.
“Not a chance!” Zoe snapped, causing both boys to look crestfallen.
“Yeah” Linda nodded in agreement, the alcohol and her earlier experience with Zoe bolstering her confidence, “I can’t believe you’d ask that when you know we have a perfectly good penthouse!” She chuckled, and the guys visible relaxed. The girls led them back to the elevator and they were soon entering the penthouse. Zoe and Linda exchanged glances and the two of them practically dragged the guys upstairs.
“I thought we were carrying on the party?” Leon asked as they reached the landing.
“Oh we are sweetie!” Zoe growled, practically pushing him through the door to her room, “only it’s time for the couples dances.” She added. She looked back at Linda who had led Jezza to the door to her room.
“Good luck” she mouthed quietly before disappearing into her room and closing the door behind her.
