“Your wingman?” Zoe asked, “the fuck you talking about dude…dude. Fuck I can’t say that word again!” She added.
“Yeah, I figured bro” Linda chuckled, “it’s like you said last night, just lean into it, don’t fight the buzz” she added with a shrug. Zoe opened her mouth to answer, but caught sight of their reflection in one of the large bay windows. Instead of mother and daughter, or the newlyweds they supposedly became last night, she saw two young men, probably in their early 20’s. Suddenly everything seemed to make a bit more sense to her. Linda was her brother-from-another-mother, not her actual mother. That thought seemed so ridiculous now. She was interrupted from her thoughts by the sound of the elevator chiming.
“Shit bro, she’s here!” Linda hissed as the doors slid open and Sierra stepped out. Zoe had to admit she did look hot, in her tight pencil skirt, heels, and linen blouse that you could just about see her bra through. Her chestnut hair was tied up in a professional bun, and her gold name-tag glittered on her sizeable chest
“Good morning gentlemen” she beamed at the two of them, “I trust you both slept well?” She asked.
“Like a log” Linda grinned, leaning against the wall with one arm. As she did she bent at the elbow, allowing her bicep to flex.
‘Smooth move’ Zoe thought as her eyes wandered over Sierra figure. She pictured the two of them in bed together, but she knew she couldn’t make a move now. Linda had staked a claim and the bro-code dictated she needed to back her up.
“Good to hear it.” Sierra smiled, “always happy to hear our contest winners are enjoying their stay. Now I believe you said there was an issue that needed addressing?” She added. For the briefest moment her eyes seem to flick over Linda’s arm, and across her chest before she quickly looked away again.
“Nah, it’s all good now” Linda grinned, “but there is something you could help me with” she added.
“Of course, I am here to assist you with anything you need.” Sierra replied sweetly.
“We were wondering if there was a gym somewhere in the hotel” Linda said, “we need to pump some iron to keep these baby’s in check” she added standing upright and flexing her arms inward so her shoulders and chest flexed too. It was a strange sight to see a middle age woman striking a body-building pose, but Zoe could guess that’s not what Sierra saw.
“Yeah” she chimed in, “you would believe what Lin can bench-press”
“Of course gentlemen” Sierra replied, “you’ll find the gym just off the lobby.” Again her eyes seemed to dart around Linda’s torso, and the hint of redness appeared on her cheeks.
“Sweet” Linda nodded, “you should come watch me work out” she added with a wink.
“Sadly I make it a point not to fraternise with guest during work hours” Sierra replied bluntly, “if that’s all gentlemen I need to go, I have a lot to do before my shift ends…” she added turning towards the elevator. Before she stepped back inside she turned back at glanced over at Linda.
“…at 2’oclock” she added with a wink. With that the elevator doors slid shut behind her leaving the two of them stood there in silence for a moment. Eventually Zoe turned to Linda and slapped her on the back.
“Duuuuuude!” She exclaimed, “you are SO in there!” She chuckled.
“No way bro, you heard her” Linda sighed, “she doesn’t get with guests” she added folding her arms.
“Dude!” Zoe grinned, slapping her own forehead, “you can be a stupid motherfucker sometimes! She said not during work hours”
“Yeah?”
“And then she told you when her shift ends”
“Yeah…” Linda trailed off as her brain caught up with what just happened “Bro!” She shouted when the penny dropped.
“Duh!” Zoe laughed.
“Shit, what time is it now?” Linda asked excitedly looking around.
“It’s 11” Zoe replied, nodding at a clock on the wall.
“Nice!” Linda grinned, “how bout we hit the gym then test out our tub?” She added.
“Sounds like a plan dude!” Zoe grinned as they pressed the button for the elevator, “guess I need to find something, or someone, to do later!” She added.
