She said as she took Carly’s hand gently in hers and guided her towards the others.
"Have you noticed anything suspicious about Dalia?" Carly asked Victoria softly.
"She only arrived a short time ago. But, she is one of us...there is little mystery there." Victoria said.
"But she wants to leave," Carly pointed out.
"She is angry you have taken her place."
"She can have it back," Carly said.
"I think she wishes to make her point for claiming what was hers," Victoria said. "If it is as you say, and she cannot survive in the world of the soft bodies, she will return to her sisters...perhaps with stories to tell of her experiences."
"You think I should have just let her go?" Carly asked.
"I did not say that. I asked you to join our Sisterhood and you accepted. You are one of us now. I was included in the judgment against you in the first challenge for not proving that this is the mistake you now claim it to be." She paused. "I am still unsure of what the right decision should be."
Dalia looked at the former soft body and the sister who was helping her. Victoria might not know much about the Right, other than what she'd been taught, but Dalia did. And this was her chance.
