Holli said as she went to find Val hoping that they would be a way to return to their old lives before Peace Blossom left Korea.
She wasn't sure where to find Val. After all, security was tight. She almost forgot that when she tried to walk out and was stopped by the group's security people. The entire section of the floor had been secured and anyone coming into the section would have to get past security. They wanted to know where she was going, so she told them. One called to get the right room number after Holli couldn't remember where it was.
Most of the hotel was still filled with regular guests, many of which were not here for the concert. But being as fans often found out where they were staying, there was extra security in the lobby to stop anyone not staying there, and at the elevators.
It had been what had pleased Val so much as she'd simply walked out and into the elevator to leave without so much as a second look. It had been a long time since anyone had let her do that. It may have been for her safety, but it was still stifling. While Holli was having to explain her movements and someone needed to decide whether or not going to another floor would be safe, Val had gone to the hotel restaurant to have something to eat. She wasn't sure how recognizable she would be elsewhere, but here...people thought she was just another tourist.
She scrolled through her phone as she ate, quietly enjoying being alone in public. Meanwhile, no one had answered the phone in Val's room, and Holli was panicking. What if she didn't see her...they suggested she return to her room and they would call her when they located the Oegug-in.
Val, finishing her meal, noticed a text from her producer. There is a blogger claiming that Peace Blossom is going to play their first concert in America. Can you get a comment from the group?. It read. Val raised a brow. That was interesting. G-Bear had been pushing for a world tour. Ironic that he finally got his wish just as she was making her exit...assuming the rumor was true.
Val returned to her room and discovered the phone ringing. "Hello?" She said in English.
It was a heavily accented Korean male voice...but clearly one with a good command of English. "Holli Mok wishes to see you."
"Of course..." Val said.
"She wishes to come to you. We are escorting her."
Holli had been pacing for what seemed like forever before she was told that they had located Val and would take her to see the Oegug-in. It apparently required no less than three escorts to do so. One of them knocked on the hotel room door.
The door opened, revealing Val, and Holli breathed a sigh of relief. "We must talk," she said.
"Of course," Val said. "Come in..."
The three males quickly looked inside the room to make sure no one else was there, then positioned themselves outside the door. Holli closed the door behind them.
"What can I do for you?" Val asked. "I would have thought you would be relaxing after a long day."
"We are going to be leaving after the concert...for America," Holli said. "That means we do not have a few days...we only have until tomorrow night," she said.
"And are you excited for your first performance in America?" Val asked.
Holli blinked. "What? No...I mean...It is supposed to be you..."
