As Jon slept...little flashes of light...looking much like the glow of the stone, happened all around the Madison home.

The stone itself stayed where it was, but everything else in the room began to shift...items vanishing and other ones appearing in their place...even the form sleeping on the bed vanished, then reappeared.

The changes continued throughout the night...until...the alarm went off...

Zoe Madison groaned as her alarm went off. She fumbled for her phone and silenced it. She was not a morning person.

Forcing herself up, she grabbed her things. She needed to get to the bathroom before her brother. It was tough being the only girl out of three people sharing a bathroom. She got her things and hurried into the hall, entering the bathroom and locking the door. Glancing at herself in the mirror, she was completely oblivious to the changes that had occurred overnight. After all, from her perspective, nothing had changed. The brown haired girl in the mirror was the same one who had been there yesterday and the day before.

Going through her morning routine...shower, drying...then back to the bedroom for her clothes, hair, and light makeup...she looked at herself and decided she was presentable.

She grabbed her schoolbooks and her school ID. It said, Zoe Madison, Junior, as well as her date of birth. She would have found the idea she was a freshman when she went to bed ridiculous. She hadn't been one for two years in her mind.

She was about to leave when she noticed her wishing stone sitting on the dresser. "Shouldn't leave that out," she mumbled. She put it back in the box it came in, and hid it in the bottom of one of her drawers.

Her mother probably would want her to help get her younger siblings up, if they weren't already. Being the oldest was such a pain sometimes.

As Zoe left a room that had been Jon's the night before...Jon was waking up down the hall...
